Greetings & Happy 2017 CLMNWA Family,
I am thrilled and excited to be able to have the opportunity to resurrect something I’ve always enjoyed doing by sharing with you the Christlike Ministries NWA Family updates as to what’s been happening with me, my family, and of course Christlike Ministries NWA. I also get to share some things that are going to be coming down the pike so to speak. I always enjoy the freshness of a new year, and as I’ve shared several times before like many preachers I believe this is going to be a good year. I believe God wants to pour out some blessings upon His people, and once again remind us (as the picture shows) that He is Faithful. Not that we don’t already know it, but I feel like 2016 left many of us a bit disappointed.
However, I’ve also been talking about how I believe the key to receiving the blessings and breakthroughs that we’re hoping will come this year is that we need to be thirsting more for the One that will be pouring out the blessings. The Lord asked me a simple question at the beginning of the year, and I believe that question has set the tone for where we’re headed. That question…
“Are you hungering and thirsting more for the blessing or the One pouring out the blessings?”
Of course, this question brings us back to the theme that God has been talking to us about since Thanksgiving of 2015 in relation to the Mary and Martha parable. The point He was getting to is simply that the key to us receiving all that He has for us still depends upon our desire to seek Him and His presence. We have to desire Him and His presence more than we desire the blessings. The fact is that the fact that He wants us to discover the intimacy of His presence is a blessing in itself. I mean, for the first few weeks of 2017 the messages God’s had me write are attempting to help us come to understand that when we come to Him for nothing more than just to be in His presence (as Mary did) He enjoys our presence as much as He sees to it that we enjoy His, Amen!?!
How many of you know that there’s NOTHING in the world that compares to spending time in His presence? That in itself is a blessing. I’ve share many times that I truly believe that the abundant life has very little with material and monetary wealth and more to do with finding ourselves in a place of spiritual maturity. One of the marks of mature Christians is coming to the understanding that one of the greatest gifts we have is the fact that we can encounter God’s presence simply by taking the step to draw near to Him. The Bible says that if we’ll draw near to Him that He WILL draw near to us.
Listen. I’m not saying that material and monetary blessings aren’t coming or that He doesn’t want us to have those kinds of blessings. What I am saying, however, is that those things are just that…things. We can’t take our money or houses or cars with us when we die. Sure, those things will make our lives here better, but the reality is many people think that this Jesus stuff don’t work if you’re not wealthy. The ONLY thing we can take from this earth into eternity is God’s presence, and that ONLY comes to those that are whosoever’s that have called upon the name of the Lord to be saved.
So. I hope you’ll join me this year in really seeking after the heart of God. Seeking more of Him. Seeking His presence. I believe one of the greatest things God wants to pour out upon us is His presence. I believe that He wants us to encounter Him in ways that we’ve never encountered Him before, and THAT in itself is one of the greatest blessings we can receive…is more of Him. I believe He wants us to discover that He enjoys our presence, and it touches His heart when we come to Him (like Mary) seeking nothing more than His presence.
So…in truth we’re not really going to shift away from the theme we’ve been talking about for the last year and a half or so. We’re going to continue to seek to go deeper and more intimate with the Father so that we can encounter Him more. Think about this (and I’ll close with this point) when the disciples were gathered in the upper room praying and worshipping in one accord the power of God exploded upon them…and then exploded upon those around them. They came out of that upper room endued with the power of the Holy Ghost, and I believe that’s what God wants to do again in 2017.
Let’s go after the heart of God and see if we can’t have some of those explosive encounters with Him ourselves, Amen!?! With that, I’m going to get on with the rest of this newsletter, and I’ll be back at the end of this post to give a few closing thoughts.
Blessings & Grace ~ Pastor B
The biggest announcement I have for 2017 is that God has given me the go ahead to return to having only one blog, and that means that I’m going to be taking the best of the messages posted on Pastor B’s Blog and re-blogging them to the CLMNWA Family Blog. Pastor B’s Blog will still be available, but there won’t be any new messages or material being written there. This will enable me to have a better balance, and it will also give y’all one place to find all of Christlike Ministries NWA’s messages. The only other place you’ll be able to read and find new material is on the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Page.
Speaking of the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Page there is going to be content posted on the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Page that you’ll only be able to find there. So, if you’re on Facebook make sure to look up the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Page, and make sure to “like” the page. There are a lot of times that God gives me spontaneous messages that only go out to my Facebook audience, and therefore I just want to make sure as many of y’all are able to get those messages as possible. After all, Christlike Ministries NWA actually began on the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Page before I started CLMNWA Family Blog.
Another thing I want to make sure to announce is that we’re going to be getting into a new teaching series starting Sunday February 5, 2017 titled “7 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know”, and I’m really excited about this because as y’all will see in the statistics section the “7 Hebrew Words For Praise” series continues to be the most popular series on this blog. So, I’m hoping that this new series will be just as successful as that one has been as it’s the main series that continues to draw people in from all over the world.
The final announcement I have is something that I can’t wait until the statistics section to share with you. I know y’all remember the beginning and how I was excited to see that we’d reached the shores or borders of 20 nations, and as of yesterday I found that WordPress has made it so I can get the statistics I was able to use under the old system. I did the math, and I’m so…so…so excited to announce to you that the Christlike Ministries NWA Blog has officially reached the borders or shores of 200 nations. That’s right friends, I used to have to say we’ve reached ALMOST 200 nations, and now I can say with confidence that we have officially reached 200 nations with the Word of God. That’s awesome, and I’m so thankful that I get to share that with y’all. Christlike Ministries NWA has truly become a world-wide ministry.
With that since January is coming to an end let me do something different with the important dates. I’m going to give the important dates for the end of January and February.

This is my favorite section of this newsletter because it’s here that we get to find out just what kind of outreach and impact www.christlikeministriesnwa.com is having upon the world, and the numbers don’t lie. Christlike Ministries NWA is a world-wide ministry that’s reaching many corners of the globe. So, let’s take a look at what God has done since February 25, 2012…
- With just over 15,000 views 7 Hebrew Words For Praise: “Tehillah” is the most popular message, and with almost 75,000 view the most popular series on www.christlikeministriesnwa.com continues to be 7 Hebrew Words For Praise. This series continues to be the main draw to this ministry blog where they find nearly 500 Holy Ghost inspired messages.

We are averaging an amazing 125 – 135 views a day. To give you a comparison when we started we were averaging 25-50 views a day.
Pastor B’s Top 3 Worship Songs of 2017
There’s one thing I love about worship music. I never know what songs are going to bless me the most, and I’ve decided to limit it to a top 3. I’ve also decided to count them down from number 3 to number 1. I’ll also say that these may not be brand new songs, but these are the songs I’ve had on repeat or watched on YouTube the most in January of 2017.
Coming in at #3 on Pastor B’s Top Worship Songs of January 2017 is a song that is really a celebratory song of the fact that Christlike Ministries NWA has reached the shores or borders of 200 nations. This song has been a favorite of mine ever since I heard it, but now it truly has a different meaning because Christlike Ministries NWA has truly gone to the ends of the earth…which is why the number 3 song on my countdown is Hillsong’s “Ends Of The Earth”
Coming in at #2 on Pastor B’s Top Worship Songs of 2017 comes a brand new song by one of Jesus Culture’s artists Chris Quilala. This song comes from his first self-titled album, and it’s truly a song I could put on repeat and listen to almost all day. I’m sure that everyone in my house is sick of hearing it, but I love it. It’s called “The Length of the Cross”.
Coming in at #1 on Pastor B’s Top Worship Songs of January 2017 is a song that I’ve had on repeat for the last few days. Another one that I’m sure everyone in my house is tired of listening to, but it comes from Elevation Worship which is actually the worship band for Pastor Steven Furtick’s church. Their song “Here As In Heaven” has been on repeat for a few days, and is actually on repeat right now. I hope y’all will love it as much as I do.
Final Word From Pastor B
What else can I say!?! I believe, like most preachers, that 2017 has the potential to be a great year for the Body of Christ. I’m excited about the prospects of 2017 for my own family and ministry, but I can’t escape the point God’s making when He asks if we’re hungering more for the blessing or for the One pouring out the blessings. That is really the tone and theme for 2017 I believe. What are you hungering and thirsting for more…the blessing or the Blesser.
Here’s the distinction. I believe those who are hungering more for the blessings will be disappointed with 2017, but those who hunger more for God than the blessings will be the ones that see the breakthroughs and miracles and blessings in abundance. I believe God wants to pour out those blessings, but I also believe that it’s going to be those who desire for Him to pour out His presence and His spirit upon. I believe the Mary’s of 2017 are going to reap the rewards that the Martha’s of 2017 are striving for, but just can’t seem to get. It all goes back to that message that I’ve now re-blogged here that I wrote just after Thanksgiving of 2015 on the “One Needful Thing”, and I believe that the key to unlocking those blessings is found in the one needful thing that Mary found at the feet of Jesus.
Of course, I have to mention the financial stuff. In April Christlike Ministries NWA will once again have to pay for the rights to use www.christlikeministriesnwa.com, and I’m also hoping to be able to upgrade the Christlike Ministries NWA all the way to business class. So…here’s what I need from you…the Christlike Ministries NWA Family. I need at least 100 of you to commit to sowing a minimum of $5-$10/month into Christlike Ministries NWA. I know what y’all are thinking…but the excess that comes in will be used to fund some outreach projects that I know the Lord is wanting me to do.
- Buying a $1,000 Visa Gift Card to take to my local Dollar General to pay for people’s purchase’s until the $1,000 runs out.
- Taking $1,000 to Harps (a local grocery store) and again paying for people’s purchases until the $1,000 runs out.
- Upgrading the CLMNWA Website which will cost about $300/year.
There’s so much more that I know in my heart God wants me to do, but I can’t simply because the finances aren’t there. So, as I said a moment ago, if I can get just 100 of you to commit to sowing at least $5/month that translates into $500/month. Which means by the time April rolls around I’ll be able to take care of some of the ministry expenses, and do some of the outreach projects I’ve already spoken about. The bigger thing is this will also help me to get Christlike Ministries NWA legitimately registered as a non-profit organization. So that I can establish a bank account in Christlike Ministries NWA name…so that those donation could, in fact become tax-deductible. For now, there’s no tax write offs…there’s just the opportunity to sow into a ministry that’s reaching 200 nations.
Anyways, I’m glad to be able to have the opportunity to share with you a few things in regards to Christlike Ministries NWA. As always, I am so thankful for all of you that are part of the Christlike Ministries NWA Family. I know that many of you share the messages I post, and that has helped me to reach the 200 nations we’ve not reached. I’m thankful to all of you for your prayers, patience and support. If you’d like to become 1 of the 100 people I need to sow into this ministry to help us achieve all God has upon my heart for Christlike Ministries NWA to do in and for my community…please email me directly at email@example.com for information as to how to do that.
And with that I will cloze the first newsletter of 2017. Thank y’all so much for believing in me, standing with me, and joining me in the passionate pursuit of His presence. I hope y’all will join me Sunday February 5, 2017 as we begin week 1 of our new 7 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know series. Until then, I’ll continue writing messages as the Lord leads, and I hope to see more of you join the Christlike Ministries NWA Facebook Fan Page.
