Only One King’s Reign Will Never End

Good Afternoon CLMNWA Family,

No, this isn’t a computer glitch this is actually back to back posts by Pastor B and Christlike Ministries NWA. I am just seeing Scripture today that is shouting at me to write about them, and as y’all know as long is the anointing to write is flowing I’ll do just that.

It’s been a good day so far.  It’s started with some devotional time with my August 2016 edition of Charles Stanley’s In Touch Devotional. The worship music is flowing, and so too apparently is the anointing to write a few messages today. I still love writing these messages, and bringing the Word of God to you this way.  It’s just like I said in my latest post over on Pastor B’s Blog titled   “Don’t Just Post It…Do It” I feel like God is doing a less is more season this summer, and I’m hoping that is going to lead into Him opening a door for me to be able to re-enter the workforce.  So, it would be greatly appreciated if y’all would join me in praying for God’s favor, and that He would open a door to a job for me soon.

In the mean time, it’s not often that I come across the book of Jude, but it’s one of those books that when you read it you come to understand how power packed it is. There’s a lot of good stuff in these Scriptures, but I’m really going to be focusing in on one point, and that’s the reason for the title of this message.

So, let’s take a look at the Scripture, and then we’ll get into this message titled “Only One King’s Reign Will Never End”.

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” – Jude 24-25 (KJV)

There’s a day coming for those of us that are whosoever’s that have called upon the name of the Lord when we will finally be under the rule and reign of our King, and there’s also a day coming when all the other kings and gods and their followers are going to have their reigns come to an abrupt and final end.  That day will be at the end of the Great White Throne Judgment where all those who chose to reject Jesus will be sent away for all of eternity.

However, even right now today, we all know that it doesn’t matter who the President of the United States or the king of England or the pope of the Catholic Church is because the truth is still the truth no matter who believes it or not.  That truth, of course, being that it doesn’t matter who the kings or presidents or prime ministers or kings are because they’re not only all subject to the King of kings and Lord of lords…but they all receive their position because He appoints them.

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” – Romans 13:1 (KJV)

So, even now…as in right now…the one and only King of kings and Lord of lords is already ruling and reigning in His sovereignty, and while some of today’s leaders can be overthrown or elected out of office…the reign of Jesus Christ will never end.  There’s no one that can or will ever overthrow or overrule Him.  There’s never going to be an election, He never has to run a political campaign, and He never needs the endorsement of another.  He is the Endorsement. He is the President of presidents, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and the Ruler of all rulers.

We, like Jude, use words like Glory, Majesty, Sovereignty, and Almighty to describe our God, and as we all know there are angels that have nothing to do but worship God all day and every day.  They never stop singing, they never stop praising, and that’s because there’s no other that can or will ever compare to our God.  The reason we praise Him and worship Him isn’t just because of what He’s done in, with, and through our lives…but because He truly is OUR King.  The reason we worship Him is because of Who He Is…and I don’t know about you but I am looking forward to being forever ruled by a loving King.

That is why we, like Jude, can conclude this message the same way He concluded his:

“To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” – Jude 1:25 (KJV)

Have a blessed day in the Lord.

Blessings & Grace ~ Pastor B
