Isaiah43_19

Scripture Of The Day:  Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

God’s Time

Greetings Everyone.

I know it’s a day late again, but yesterday was a busier day than usual.  So, here’s the Christlike Ministries NWA Daily Devotional for Friday January 23, 2015, and as always before we get going let’s look at the Scripture of the Day.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

This is the verse that stood out to me as the calendar turned to the New Year in 2015.  There were two immediate messages I got from the Lord for the year that lead me to believe that 2015 is going to be the kind of year that the Lord really shows Himself to me in ways I’ve never seen or known Him.

The first thing I saw was the first thing I read:  “Behold, I will do a new thing”.  Now, I don’t know about anyone else, but when the Lord speaks that He’s going to do a “new thing” that excites me.  I already have begun to do a few new things as far as the ministry is concerned, and I’m more than excited to see what more new things are on the way.

The second thing I saw was the “God’s Time”.  Every thing God does is always on His time.  Now, there have been times that it seemed to me that God was late, and I can’t think of one time that I thought God was early…but the truth of this is that God isn’t early or late He is always on time…HIS time.

So, I have a word from God for 2015, and the truth is it doesn’t matter if He does the new thing today or if He waits until December 31, 2015 at 11:59:59pm…I believe that He is going to do a new thing, but I also believe that when He follows it up by reminding me it’s on His time…that the new thing isn’t going to come when I want it to…and part of the test with Him telling me He’s going to do a new thing is to see if I’m going to trust Him or if I’m going to throw my hands in the air and get frustrated waiting for the new thing.

Friends, if you have a word from God like I do.  Then you can be certain that He is going to bring what He spoke to you to pass, but you can also be certain that He’s going to do it on and in His time.

I used to be so frustrated with the old cliché “God is never early or late, but He is always on time.”  Until He revealed to me that the reason that frustrated me is that I was expecting Him to move in my timing.

So, if you have a word from God it is going to happen, but it’s going to happen on His timing…and no matter how frustrating it can be to wait for it…His timing is always the right time.

Let’s Pray:

Lord God, we love You. You are always so good to us, and know exactly what time to move and do things in our lives. Thank You for Your timing even when we think You should act on ours. Thank You for always knowing what is best for us, and for also always knowing when the right time in our lives is for everything. We bless You, Lord. In Jesus name. Amen & Amen

In Closing:

God’s timing.  We aren’t always excited about it especially when His timing isn’t ours.  However, His time is always perfect even though we wish His time-table was more on ours instead of His.

After all, God isn’t ever early nor is He late, but He is always on time.

Blessings & Grace;
